The “Notorious RBG”: Ruth Bader Ginsburg

I admire no one more than Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, for not only does she champion women’s rights and equality for all, but she’s also a caring and compassionate individual. Here are 5 fun facts about the “Notorious RBG” to make you smile.

1) Until his death, she remained good friends with fellow Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, despite their opposing political views. That’s pretty admirable and impressive on both ends– if only they could share their wisdom with Congress right now!

2) She does a hard-core workout every single day. 84 is the new 24. After beating cancer twice, RBG began a strict exercise regimen. She can do more push-ups than me!

3) She has her own comic book. Yes, you heard that right. If you’re an RBG nerd/super fan like me, it’s a must-read.

4) She was the first Supreme Court Justice to officiate a same-sex wedding. What hasn’t RBG done?

5) During her days in law school, when her husband was sick, she took care of him and took notes for him in class. Not to mention, she also cared for their young baby at the time.
