Pumpkin Spice Lovers Unite: How to Prepare for the Starbucks Craze

Yes, it’s only September, and yes, Thanksgiving is more than two months away, but it’s never too early to get into the holiday spirit. I consider myself to be a festive person, and I enjoy celebrating the small things. September 5, however, is no small day: it’s the day that Starbucks is unveiling its signature drink: THE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE. Naturally, to celebrate one of the biggest food dates of the year, I created a guide for anyone who loves the flavor pumpkin spice as much as I do. What other drink can embody so many things at once? Delicious flavor, the beginning of fall, the beginning of the holiday season… Who knew pumpkin spice lattes could be so meaningful?

Sure, it might be considered “basic” to enjoy a Starbucks latte this much, but I truly do love anything pumpkin-flavored. Without further ado, I give you ten pumpkin spice-flavored items that you can order online right now to prepare for September 5, 2017.

1) Pumpkin Spice Mini Wheats

It’s The Breakfast of Champions! Nothing more needs to be said.

2) Pumpkin Spice Milanos

The pumpkin flavor does not overwhelm the cookies, which is a good thing because that would not be too appealing! These Milanos are delicious and celebratory, especially around Halloween and Thanksgiving.

3) Pumpkin Spice Cheerios

Generally speaking, cereal is one of my all-time favorite foods and one of the few things I can “cook.” I can pour a mean bowl of cereal just so you’re aware. I plan to mix these Cheerios with a delicious cup of almond milk tomorrow morning!

4) Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal

The Quakers seem to have their act together, and Quaker Oatmeal has just released a pumpkin spice version. It seems that they never go wrong. They also produced a holiday version of Life Cereal. YUM.

5) Pumpkin Pie Lara Bar

This protein bar is as close as it gets for healthy pumpkin-flavored food. Lara Bars are the ideal snack for all vegans and vegetarians. Since we live in LA, I felt like I had to include something somewhat nutritious on this list.

6) Pumpkin Spice Jell-O Pudding

I’m pretty skeptical of Jell-O to begin with, but it’s festive, so I had to include it!

7) Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer

With this creamer, you can now transform your boring morning coffee into a holiday delight. Buy the 32-oz version if you’re feeling particularly jolly. I feel like I’m writing a commercial right now for this product, but I just love it!

8) Pumpkin Spice Stevia

I don’t think I’ve actually ever had Stevia, but I might just try this version of it.

9) Pumpkin Spice Meringues

I’m all for meringues, and these pumpkin spice-flavored ones are both gluten and fat free– perfect for people living in LA!

10) Pumpkin Spice Almonds

Last but not least, almonds– because everyone needs to taste a pumpkin spice almond at least once in their lifetime.
